Job Description

The Purchase-Based Contracting (PBC) Finance Lead supports discount and pricing contracts across multiple products and channels, including providers and physicians, hospitals, clinics, and group purchasing organization (GPO) accounts. In this role, you will contribute to PBC strategies and initiatives and help ensure contracts are implemented compliantly and effectively. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Purchase-Based Contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for analysts supporting Oncology and other products across wholesaler and GPO contracts while independently managing an assigned portfolio.
  • Represent PBC on initiatives that evaluate opportunities and streamline or enhance processes and systems, including Pramata, GIA, and Model N.
  • Partner with the manager and Brand and Market Access teams on strategic initiatives throughout the year.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while building strong internal and external cross-functional relationships across Pricing, Business Technology Solutions (BTS), Legal, Market Access, Brand, and other teams.
  • Build alignment and drive results by partnering effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and teams.
  • Lead special projects and support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and audit-related requests.
  • Deliver results across assigned responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation, accountability, and autonomy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or Business required.
    • MBA desirable.
  • 6+ Years of progressive experience, preferably in Contracts and Pricing.
  • Ability to provide indirect leadership and guidance across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to interact with and support senior-level management in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data from multiple sources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred.
  • Subject matter expert-level knowledge of Model N; experience with QlikView is a plus.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.   • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
