Job Description

Purpose

The Finance Lead, FP&A - US Site Ops reports to the Associate Director, Finance - US Site Ops & EHS and provides financial leadership and business support for the close, financial planning and analysis, and strategic planning processes of the US Site Operations team. This role ensures compliance with financial policies and oversees FP&A activities related to Actuals, Plan, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), Long Range Plans (LRP), and ad hoc analysis as needed to support day-to-day and long-term operations of the US Site Ops Regional offices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual Actual results, comparing them against benchmarks (Plan/LBEs/LRP) to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare and lead Business Units through all aspects of the Plan, LBE, and LRP processes by ensuring deliverables are accurate, clear, and concise for management review and approval in alignment with Operations and Corporate requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and packages at the Business Unit (site) level.
  • Load and maintain financial Plan and Benchmark data in BPC.
  • Create, update, and maintain internal consolidation files used to fulfill Operations and Corporate requirements.
  • Lead US Site Operations Depreciation forecasting modeling efforts from monitoring timing of capitalizations to calculating monthly accruals.
  • Co-Lead monthly review of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) expenses vs planned targets for US Site Operations regional sites.
  • Significant interaction with US Site Ops Senior Management, Commercial, R&D Finance Partners, Accounting COE, Finance Shared Services, Integrated Facilities Management (CBRE), and the Business Process Outsourcer.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed.
  • Effectively support and develop 1 financial analyst position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 6+ years of finance/accounting experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Power Point and proficient in business applications, TM1, BPC, SAP, HFM, and Workiva.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to change to achieve required timelines and have the ability to work in team environment.
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance
  • Learns and grasps concepts fast and can change course quickly where necessary.
  • Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
  • Embraces the ideas of others, nurtures innovation, and manages innovation to reality.
