We are currently recruiting for finance accounts assistant on a six-month contract at our AbbVie North Dublin site.
Over the course of the contract, you will be given extensive opportunities to develop both professionally and personally and to engage in cultural and social corporate responsibility initiatives. You will receive extensive on the job training and participate in professional training courses that give all the tools needed for success. Assignments are structured in such a way as to give you the opportunity to make a measurable impact.
This contract role support two separate legal entity activities, a manufacturing based at the AbbVie North Dublin site and a IP holder and distribution company. Some of responsibilities are unique to each entity whereas others are common to both organisations.

Main responsibilities and activities:
· Support month-end financial analysis and reporting.
· Report out monthly cost centre activity liaising with multiple business stakeholders.
· Report creation using Excel, Power query and Power BI.
· Detailed review of month end Open PO report, liaise with global affiliate contact as appropriate.
· Conduit between expense requestors and concierge for shopping cart and PO queries- distribution entity.
· Support spare parts cycle count and reconciliation of valuation to Maximo system .
· Fixed assets physical verification in accordance with policy.
· Environmental Health and safety initiatives – support EHS program.
· eMDO (electronic material destruction order) Review and ensure inventory fully reserved before eMDO approval.
· Gap analysis on P2P SOP’s.
· Sales invoice matching to underlying shipping documentation.
· Support Costing Accountant with standard cost and costing queries.
· Manage VHI for distribution entity employees, working with HR & FSS team.
· Manage annual holiday accrual for distribution employees, working with HR & FSS team.
· Payroll and employee benefit reconciliation, working with FSS team.
· Assist FSS with ad hoc queries (relating to Aged open items and Payroll).
Requirements:
· Have completed or currently studying a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
· An interest in working within the pharmaceutical industry
· Min of 3.0 GPS or 2.1.
· EU working permit.
