The End User Technology Strategist plays a key role in delivering Core End User Technologies to AbbVie colleagues globally. The End User Technology Strategist is responsible for overseeing all activities related to researching, designing, and marketing the Core End User Technology product portfolio to AbbVie internal colleagues globally. The End User Technology Strategist will oversee the production of our portfolio of Endpoints in AbbVie’s enterprise environment from beginning to end.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Participate in strategic and tactical activities for projects that contribute to larger solutions, and serve as the champion for endpoint technology product/service areas
- Conduct internal and external research: business requirements, market requirement, competitive research, internal research and analysis to inform strategic direction and priorities for endpoint technology product/service areas
- Regularly collaborate across the business to collect and socialize a comprehensive, accurate and detailed set of feature requirements and prioritized backlog
- Owns the definition, prioritization and hygiene of the product backlog throughout the concept through delivery process
- Working in partnership with the UX team, ensures delivery of all user experience mock ups required in support of backlog items
- Act as a product/service delivery champion: represent the business and value of the capabilities throughout the product delivery process, problem solve obstacles to delivery, build a sense of team and set the urgency/energy levels where appropriate, model and foster company values with across delivery teams and ensure overall team and project success
- Presents research and ideas to direct leadership as required to support broader product/service strategy
- Periodically required to brief senior product executives on the state of their respective products/service releases and plans
- Works with others, where appropriate, to create and improve operational aspects of service delivery within our technology platform
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Required
- Bachelor's Degree with 9 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 8 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience.
- 9+ years experience in project or product management, business systems analysis, software development or deployment, with a minimum of 9 years managing projects, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
