- Plays a central role in higlighting and implementing continuous improvement ideas and operational excellence opportunities identified through tracking and monitoring of production performance
- Assists with the development of lean and continuous improvement skills throughout the manufacturing organisation.
- Assists in the pre-campaign planning of Drug Products and APIs, in reviewing lessons learned from previous campaigns with operations personel and supports post-campaign activities.
- May act as a delegate for the DP and Synthroid Operations Leads for certain activities and tasks based on level of experience and competence.
- Assists and may lead Root Cause Analyses and indentification of Corrective/Preventative Actions as part of deviation investigation processes.
- Assists in following up and closing operations related CAPAs and compliance suggestions.
- Personally responsible for adhering to all SOPs related to Quality, Safety and Environmental Compliance. Should act as role model for the identification and implementation of Positive Compliance interventions.
- Implements changes to Operating SOPs as required.
- May represent operations on introductions and execution of NPI projects.
- Assists in the identifiaction, implementation and execution of key Manufacturing and Site Strategies
- Degree (ideally Masters or PhD) in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Process Engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of API/Drug Product processing, unit operations, and operational excellence/continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lean Six Sigma qualification or relevant knowledge is highly desirable.

Where We Work
Role is exclusively performed at a site or office and onsite presence is required. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
