Position Overview: \
The Director of International Infield Team Excellence is responsible for advancing our Customer Engagement model in target markets by implementing In-Field Team Excellence strategies. This role focuses on embedding International Customer Engagement Guidance & Execution Excellence into affiliate tactical planning to enhance Customer Experience and drive brand adoption for launch and prioritized established brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement Implementation: Lead the embedding of Customer Engagement Guidance & Execution Excellence to improve affiliate tactical execution, enhancing overall Customer Experience and brand adoption.
- Brand Influence and Leadership: Serve as the advocate for In-Field Team Excellence, providing leadership and strategic direction for brand teams. Foster collaboration across International, Area, and Affiliate teams to align with Brand strategies.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including BEX, DT, WWD, EPE & Learning, INBTs, MIH, IMABI, and BTS to implement the Customer Engagement model as per the IMCO Compass operating model.
- Orchestration and Execution: Coordinate efforts across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of strategies and initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Integrated Brand Management: Coach and guide Brand Teams from strategy development to execution, integrating MCM/OCM execution and Data Analytics components.
- Product Expertise: Provide insights on product knowledge and competitive advantages, translating scientific concepts into impactful marketing initiatives that benefit patients.
- Vision and Strategy Leadership: Develop and steer strategic global marketing visions and Customer Engagement plans tailored for launching brands and prioritized markets. Promote a cohesive “Meta AbbVie” mindset in all strategic endeavors.
- Influence and Leadership: Set clear accountability and priorities, leading and inspiring both direct and indirect teams across various business functions. Promote AbbVie's Ways of Working and Talent Philosophy.
- Action and Accountability: Oversee and assess the implementation, tracking, and monitoring of marketing plans and initiatives. Use leadership and marketing skills to evaluate and enact necessary actions.
- Market Awareness and Strategic Impact: Continuously assess market dynamics and constituent needs to formulate effective business plans. Make strategic decisions to advance In-Field Team Excellence and enhance brand performance.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Proven experience leading brand teams at AbbVie or equivalent leadership in brand planning across multiple functions.
- Cross-business exposure with experience in growth, mature, and launch brands, and relevant business functions like Managed Care, Market Analytics.
- International or global experience with a strategic mindset.
- Deep understanding of therapeutic areas and top market dynamics in Europe and Intercontinental regions.
- Proficiency in marketing skills, including Insights, Segmentation, Positioning, and more.
- Experience working in a high-performing matrix organization, with success in coaching and motivating teams.
This role is pivotal in driving AbbVie's Customer Engagement model forward, ensuring that our strategic objectives align with brand growth and customer satisfaction goals across international markets.
