Identify and implement process improvements to increase the organization's agility and competitiveness by applying best practices in project management and operational excellence, and complying with applicable procedures and regulations. Projects may involve continuous improvement, cost reduction, automation, digital transformation, or other initiatives related to the Factory of the Future or required by the plant.
Main Responsibilities
- Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Lead execution of projects assigned by the Factory of the Future program
- Design work plans for successful implementation of Factory of the Future projects
- Analyze existing processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate and execute optimization projects as assigned
- Conduct tests and experiments to validate improvements, using design of experiments, statistical analysis, and digital tools
- Documentation and Regulatory Compliance:
- Prepare technical documentation for regulatory changes
- Maintain records based on historical data, research, and field studies
- EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety):
- Ensure compliance with corporate and legal EHS policies
- Implement strategies, internal controls, and training to improve EHS performance
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives in safety and environment
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Coordinate with internal teams and AbbVie’s external network to execute projects
- Apply principles of project management and operational excellence
- EDUCATION
- Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production, Industrial Design Engineering, or related field
- Preferred: Master's degree or certifications in continuous improvement, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, or similar
- English proficiency B2 (C1 preferred)
- EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years in manufacturing, process engineering, project management, or similar environments

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
