The Data Product Manager plays an important role in the Winning with Data (WWD) Data & Analytics team. This person will contribute to the vision, strategy, and roadmap to help build data solutions for commercial and marketing together with cross-functional teams (including data science, engineering, product owners, and other key stakeholders).
We are looking for an individual to excel in stakeholder management, ensuring alignment and effective communication across the organisation. To promote the adoption and help educate stakeholders on how to leverage data available in the data ontology. As the Data Product Manager supports the development and execution of the roadmap for key data products through ontology migrations and program needs, helping to craft long-term data solutions that support organisational goals. You will be able to react to short-term needs while planning for long-term success. This role provides an excellent opportunity to manage and influence across multiple levels of the organisation.
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing a set of data products that serve as the foundation for strategic programs and key initiatives across the International Commercial organisation. Serve as the subject matter expert and leader for owned data product area(s) by actively engaging with senior leadership to align on objectives and priorities.
- Leading high-impact conversations & facilitating workshops with key stakeholders and cross-functional leads to develop a data product roadmap, execute on those business needs, and continually evolve/align the plan. This includes influencing and negotiating priorities to balance short-term requests with long-term strategic goals.
- Building a deep understanding of upstream/downstream systems and processes; understand how they should shape the data model design and impact adjacent systems, while proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements and efficiencies.
- Partnering with Product Owners, Affiliates, Customer Excellence, and engineering teams to understand their data needs, challenges as it pertains to your data product ownership areas and providing leadership in the coordination of efforts to meet these requirements.
- Driving initiatives forward, ensuring clear direction and accountability across teams, and managing up where necessary to meet key deadlines. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

- Bachelor's Degree with industry experience
- Understanding of data management principles and methodologies
- Expertise in data governance, analytics, and product management practices

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
