We have an opportunity for a Coordinator to join our Specialty team. In this role, you will provide administrative, financial and project assistance to the Business Unit Director, the Business Unit Manager and the commercial team responsible for the Spasticity and Movement Disorders therapeutic area. In addition, you will oversee other general tasks for the smooth running of the department, as well as provide support to the sales force teams and other team members for key programs. This position is based in Montreal (Saint-Laurent) and reports to the Business Unit Director, Specialty, Neuroscience.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Business Unit Director and Business Unit Head and their teams with managing calendars, expense reports, coordinating of meetings and other general administrative work.
- Provide back-up support to higher-level management leaders, as needed.
- Build strong relationships and works collaboratively with internal stakeholders, to enable higher performance across the business unit.
- Support working group members for sales meetings, advisory boards, brand teams.
- Manage and prioritize the information flow from all internal and external customers.
- Manage the budget following purchasing and requisition procedures for SAP and Icertis (i.e. payment requisition, purchase orders, etc.)
- Create the development and processing of contracts.
- Ensure the compliance of projects follow the applicable AbbVie policies and procedures.
- Coordinate new employee office set-ups and on-boarding, as needed.
- Maintain an ongoing commitment to learning and personal development.
Education / Experience required:
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Administration, Commerce or a related field.
- Experience working as a coordinator, administrative assistant or equivalent role. (minimum of five years).
- SAP understanding and working ability (Icertis preferred) is a plus.
- Database management and support.
- Knowledge of biotechnology / pharmaceutical industry is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large volume of tasks and priorities and operating with execution excellence.
Essential skills and abilities:
- Advanced French and English language proficiency (oral and written).
