Job Description

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive and grow AbbVie’s HCV engagement within the Community Corrections setting across Australia.
  • Develop and manage relationships with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to understand unmet needs.
  • Gain an understanding of each type of Community Corrections facility and if there is an opportunity to have clients tested and treated for HCV as well as liaising with relevant stakeholders and associated HCPs
    • Community Corrections
    • Probation and Parole
    • Engage and liaise with PAGs & NGOs via AbbVie Communications and Patient Relations Team member– e.g. Hepatitis QLD, Hepatitis NSW, QUIHN
    • Allied services to support Community Corrections sites e.g. Outreach liver clinics, mental health, drug and alcohol, sexual health.
  • Australian Community Corrections Landscape Mapping
    • Map each of the Community Corrections facilities across Australia (initially QLD & NSW) to understand the engagement & management of HCV as well as
      • Organizational structure of Community Corrections and Probation & Parole facilities
      • Any unmet needs specific to each stakeholder
      • Sharing best practice
      • Model of care (nurse led, local GP, hospital outreach clinics etc) including networks of advice / decision making, etc
      • Screening, treatment, and referral pathways
      • Needs of clinical update
      • Prescribing process
      • Dispensing process

  • Planning and Execution
    • Develop an engagement plan for each Community Corrections facility (geographic or LHD based) which works toward a tailored solution that best fits the unmet need of that facility.
    • Ensure all engagement and solutions comply with AbbVie compliance and legal requirements and Medicines Australia Code of Conduct.
    • Execute engagement plans in liaison with relevant AbbVie KAMs and Medical
    • Liaise with National Corrections Manager on tailored solution funding.
    • Liaise with Abbvie Communications and Patient Relations Manager

 


Qualifications

 

Education/Experience:

  • Proven track record of business success in complex market environments.
  • Experience in utilising multi-channel communication tools

  • Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge.
