In the role of Business Systems Lead, Vault Clinical you’ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.
The Business Systems Lead, Vault Clinical is responsible for working with Clinical Development Operations lines of business, leadership and staff to understand business needs for technology, define business and functional requirements, evaluate solution alternatives, and develop detailed implementation plans outlining cost, schedule and ongoing operations for technology delivery specific to the Vault Clinical environment (eTMF, Study Start Up and Customer Relationship Management). This role will actively collaborate with our business in the planning, design, development and deployment of new systems and enhancements to existing systems, providing specialized technical and business knowledge to system projects. They will determine ways of leveraging existing systems for new requirements, seeking ways to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow. They will also support ongoing operations by Identifying and resolving issues with existing systems.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Understanding the Clinical Development Operations business team’s vision, goals and strategies related to Clinical Vault utilization while managing required changes effectively and promoting innovation.
- Understanding Clinical Documentation Center, Study Start Up and Clinical Site Management client’s business needs and requirements and resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Overseeing and ensuring that resources are available to meet the daily operational demands of the area. May oversee and control department budgets and/or projects budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining high-quality relationships with all levels across the Clinical Development Operations business and with external vendor partners.
- Complying with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 6 years’ experience, PhD 2 years’ experience in business information systems, or a discipline closely related to the client area served.
- Proven experience in the implementation, configuration, and operations of Veeva Vault Clinical applications/modules.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with customers and technical team members.
- Must be deliverables focused and detail oriented.
- Must exhibit exceptional teamwork skills.
- Must have a strong customer focus.
