Key Responsibilities
- Effectively influence Safety & Quality technology initiatives & releases, challenge existing processes, policies, & perceptions, by collaborating across the Patient Safety, Epidemiology, & Quality (PSEQ) business & BTS teams.
- Investigate & understand capabilities of existing systems and technologies already in use across PSEQ and similar interconnected business areas of the organization, and investigate available technologies applied to this business area in industry.
- Drive system technology initiatives; manage SLC documentation and support business users in User Acceptance Test phases.
- Manage GxP system Validation activities including assessment, planning, testing, and approval.
- Develop business relationships and integrating activities with other Business Technology Organizations to ensure successful implementation and support of project efforts.
- Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives of assignment.
- Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial, and quality aspects.
Education & Experience
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of work experience in Information Technology (IT), including application project management work experience. Of the work experience required, must have 5 years working with a matrixed organization, working with business stakeholders to define needs and to interpret needs for the IT team, and 2 years in each of the following: (i) working in the Pharmaceutical industry, & (ii) leading technology Validation activities for GxP applications. Experience may be gained concurrently.
Salary Range: $143,999.86 - $173,500.00 per year
