If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as Business Strategy Manager in our Customer Excellence Team.


 


Your team & your role at AbbVie


The Customer Excellence Team is the internal consultant for our commercial affiliate, comprised of a dynamic team of 9 professionals. As a Business Strategy Manager, you will play a crucial role within our team, supporting and facilitating our brand- and infield teams in their strategy planning and operational excellence. You provide high impact, best practice, integrated interventions which enable AbbVie to be always ahead of the curve. You will work closely with your colleagues from Customer Excellence, our leadership team and of course with our brand and infield teams.  


 


To excel in this role, you should have a clear understanding and experience with go-to-market strategies in life sciences. You understand the healthcare environment in the Netherlands with knowledge of the role of different stakeholders. You are strong in change management and you come with the skills and competencies to facilitate strategic discussions and to coach teams and individuals in the implementation of new tools and processes. You enjoy working in a collaborative matrix organization. Reporting to the Director of Customer Excellence, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the team's success and make a real impact.


 


Key responsibilities


  • Power Brand Strategies: Strengthen the brand planning cycle to ensure customer focused strategies and initiatives. Facilitate strategic discussions and ensure a clear planning cycle from analysis to strategy & tactics with empowered and well-prepared team members.

  • Seamless Preparation of Launches: Support and facilitate launch readiness by embedding strong launch governance in brand teams.

  • Embed Cross-Functional Account Management: Coach and support infield teams and coordinators to translate brand strategies into tailored account plans. Guide teams in the ways of working of our cross-functional account management approach.

  • Advance Customer Engagement Capabilities: Support our digital transformation in customer engagement by assessing opportunities to improve customer experience. Leverage the right tools and systems in facilitating their customer engagement planning.

  • Enhance Data-Driven Decision Making: Support teams in solid objective and KPI setting and using the right analytical tools to measure and effective decision making.

Qualifications

What we ask 


·        Bachelor's or higher degree with an affinity for life science and commercial business strategies


·        At least 5 years of experience and successful track record in development of brand strategies, performance and process management within life sciences.


·        Proven change management capabilities and influential skills with experience in transformational programs.


·        Strong business knowledge of the bio-pharma sector including knowledge of the external environment, relevant stakeholders and our customers.


·        Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively.


·        Self-driven and adaptable, capable of independently managing multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables.


·        Fluent in both Dutch and English (verbal and written)
