Company Description

The Business Excellence Partner is responsible for driving commercial activities which maximize sales revenue and improve field force efficiency. You will work closely with sales, marketing and other departments to develop strategies, generate insights and improve process to ultimately improve business performance.

This is a cluster role with responsibility for Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands (Benelux), a key member of the local leadership team, reporting to the GM Benelux. Line management responsibility for the Business Excellence Analyst.


Job Description

  1. Segmentation and Targeting
  • Set a segmentation strategy aligned to the local market dynamics.
  • Ensure we target the right customers with appropriate frequency in order to maximize sales force impact.
  • Work with the head of sales and the field force to profile customers.
  • Assess impact of new sales processes, brand priority and the deploying sales team in different ways
  • Maintain familiarity with current trends in salesforce deployment for the Aesthetics industry including understanding of how different models can deliver key business objectives.

 

  1. Salesforce Effectiveness
  • Ensure sales force size, structure and territories are optimally created to drive fairness and efficiency
  • Create regular cycle plans ensuring we achieve optimal coverage of customers whilst maintaining fairness and balance between sales team members
  • Set relevant KPIs to monitor sales team performance, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Work wit the sales team to put in place operational planning and a regular review process

 

  1. Salesforce Incentive Design                                                                     
  • Work with the Western Europe Region to develop annual incentive schemes that are competitive whilst remaining motivational
  • Ensure the local bonus policies are understood and paid correctly in country
  • Set quarterly sales targets and calculate pay-out
  • Complete regular sales incentive plan “health checks” to ensure bonus scheme are having the desired impact

 

  1. Commercial Analytics
  • The role involves collecting and analyzing data related to customer sales and field force activity to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Generating regular reports and providing insights and recommendations to senior management
  • Manage data quality in our Power BI dashboards and CRM system.

 

  1. Training                                                                                                                 
  • Research and recommend training interventions to improve the capability of sales teams and sales managers to improve performance
  • Provide the sales team with training on Power BI dashboard and CRM where necessary
  • Support the sales team in developing their commercial acumen by training them on operational planning and territory analysis

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent, further qualification is an advantage
  • Experience in leadership roles with direct line responsibility
  • Experience in sales intelligence / salesforce effectiveness / operation / analytics preferably within a Pharmaceutical or Healthcare company
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken) preferred
  • Demonstrated high level of analytical skills
  • Excellence focused, turning strategy into reality
  • Strong communication and organizational skills 
  • Hybrid working model: 3 days onsite (Hoofddorp)
  • You have a right to work in Netherlands
