Objectives
The Business Analyst will serve as a trusted Business Partner to their assigned Business Unit leadership and brand teams, delivering high-quality analytical insights that support data-driven decision-making across their therapy area and affiliate markets. This role focuses on translating business questions into analytical solutions, creating actionable recommendations, and contributing to pan-affiliate analysis initiatives. The Business Analyst will report to the Business Analyst Lead and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive commercial and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Business Unit Analytics
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on assigned Business Unit performance, including sales trends, market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and maintain Business Unit-specific reporting frameworks.
- Monitor performance metrics and proactively identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring strategic attention.
- Support forecasting, planning, and resource allocation activities for the Business Unit.
Insight Generation and Reporting
- Translate complex data from multiple sources into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create compelling data visualizations and presentations for stakeholders at various levels.
- Deliver regular analytical reports and ad-hoc analyses to support business unit leadership decisions.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of all analytical outputs.
- Support the rollout and adoption of global and local dashboards to business unit stakeholders.
Data Sourcing and Integration
- Support the identification, evaluation, and sourcing of external data to enhance analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with data integration teams to incorporate external market data, competitive intelligence, and industry benchmarks with internal datasets.
- Support data quality initiatives and compliance with data governance standards.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Partner with the Lead Business Analyst to contribute to pan-affiliate analyses and cross-brand insights.
- Work closely with the Data Transformation team to leverage evolving datasets and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Business Relationship Manager and Customer Insights Partner to integrate quantitative analytics with market intelligence and business needs.
- Support knowledge sharing and adoption of analytical best practices across the analytics community.
Qualifications & Competencies
Experience & Technical Skills
- Experience in business analytics, data analysis, or related data-driven roles.
- Strong proficiency with analytical tools
- Experience with programming languages an advantage (e.g., SQL, Python, R).
- Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) and statistical analysis.
- Good understanding of business metrics and commercial operations, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets from multiple sources.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
