Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage the system based on business requests rather than solely analyzing data. They will have a proven track record of utilizing appropriate tools to collect, correlate, and analyze data to (1) enhance team and individual quality and productivity, (2) assist in optimizing current business practices and understanding the impact of changes, improvements, or projects on team performance. This role will also entail producing written reports of their work and applying and implementing standard theories, concepts, and techniques related to information systems.

  • Write enhancement story requests with a primary focus on system enhancements
  • Work with business owners to ensure that requirements meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with business teams to analyze processes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Translate data gathered from user discussions into business requirements.
  • Identify business and system requirements and provide recommendations for appropriate solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with BTS on story grooming and follow up with the business on open questions.
  • Review stories with AAS Team to ensure proper testing.
  • Assist in developing testing strategies and preliminary findings.
  • Simplify complex work procedures and present concepts.
  • Utilize knowledge of business and technology to diagnose systems and make recommendations.
  • Monitor reports for system stability and performance, focusing on enhancements and compliance items.
  • Manage data steward activities such as working with support on data corrections and reprocesses for date sync failure.
  • Assist the business by working with the support team to complete data change requests.
  • Assess problems and determine solutions within the scope of own abilities.
  • Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff members.
  • Manage projects based on milestones and complete assigned tasks from more experienced analysts and managers.
  • Monitor reports for system stability and performance as it relates to enhancements, and compliance items around templates.
  • Work effectively within a team and collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to make technical decisions and achieve organizational goals.

 


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems.
  • Skilled at developing and generating reports to maximize efficiency. Continuous improvement experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong in analytical thinking and problem-solving techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of business processes and technological trends.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and project management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role is responsible for the system from business asks vs. only analyzing data.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.​

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
