As Brand Manager for Solid Tumours, you will shape the direction and growth of AbbVie’s oncology portfolio, crafting strategies that elevate brand performance and enhance patient outcomes. Working in close partnership with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders, you’ll turn clinical insights into actionable, compliant marketing plans that align with our mission and business goals. Purpose Statement
Develop and execute brand strategy and tactical plans for a Solid Tumours oncology brand, supporting overall business objectives and improving patient outcomes. Collaborate effectively across teams to deliver clear, impactful marketing plans that align with business goals, address customer needs, and improve patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop the brand strategy and operational plan for the Solid Tumours brand, with a strong focus on launch readiness and strategic direction for launch execution.
- Lead the planning and coordination of marketing initiatives to enable a successful product launch and support sustained brand growth post-launch.
- Build deep insight into the therapy area, including customer needs, treatment pathways, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to grow the brand through healthcare professional engagement, educational initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, and other teams to translate clinical data into clear, relevant, and compliant brand strategy and core materials.
- Develop integrated, multi-channel campaign plans (including digital and field-based activities) and guide execution through field teams to drive customer engagement and brand performance.
- Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure aligned execution, maintaining full compliance with company policies and legal and ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, nursing, business, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, ideally in marketing, sales, medical, specialty care, or hospital-focused roles.
- Oncology and/or Solid Tumours experience is preferred.
- Strong skills in brand planning, analysis, project management, and cross-functional working.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand clinical data and turn it into practical marketing actions.er industry
Key Stakeholders
- External: oncologists, specialist oncology nurses, hospital pharmacists and multidisciplinary clinical teams, external vendors.
- Internal: Business Unit Manager (Solid Tumours), Brand Team colleagues, In-Field teams, and affiliate support functions.
Other practical requirements
- Full compliance with AbbVie policies, the IPHA Code, and all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements is required.
- Hybrid Office-based role with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
