PRIMARY FUNCTION/OBJECTIVE:
The Brand Manager, Neuroscience plays a pivotal role in shaping and driving the brand strategy for pharmaceutical products targeted at neurological disorders. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including research and development, sales, marketing, and medical affairs, to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence. You will be responsible for conducting market analysis, identifying key customer insights, and developing marketing campaigns that effectively communicate the value proposition for assigned products within the Parkinsons disease market. The Brand Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and patient feedback to adapt strategies promptly. By aligning marketing efforts with business objectives, the Brand Manager ensures the successful launch and sustained growth of assigned products, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and execution of the annual marketing plan, co-ordinate the successful implementation of tactics that support growth for assigned products within the Parkinsons disease market.
- Work with Area and Global teams to deliver key initiatives locally as well as report on Australian insights and performance.
- Material and product accessory management (Warehouse stock levels, re-stocking, re-approvals and withdrawals)
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitors, product ranges and promotional activities
- Effectively analyse customer insights, brand performance, market trends, & competitive response to inform strategic plan
- Management of promotional budget and project spend
- Manage external third- party vendors and meet all related internal procurement and compliance requirements
- Ensure all business activities comply with the relevant Acts, legal demands, including Medicines Australia, MTAA, consumer advertising codes and ethical standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary qualification in a science, business or management discipline or equivalent
- Previous experience in healthcare/marketing with strong performance record - launch experience will be advantageous
- Demonstrated excellence in execution and experience in the strategic brand planning process
- Ability to build strong, cross-functional stakeholder relationships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party external vendors
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to generate and synthesise insights from data analysis
- Experience in product life cycle and budget management
- Fully conversant in Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
