As a Field Reporting Platform Lead you will be the technology owner and Product Owner of all Field Reporting technology solutions and enhancements . Field Reporting solutions are used by field sales teams and their management for business planning, pre-call planning, and field reporting purposes . These solutions contain metrics used to drive business interactions with HCPs (healthcare professionals) and assess performance. The Field Reporting solutions never remain static as dynamics of the business change (new or competitive product launches, business drivers, etc . ), the Field Reporting solution must adapt to those changes to continue to provide meaningful insights.  

 

In this role you will be responsible for:  

( 40%) Strategic Product alignment by :  


  • Understand and contribute to the organization's vision, goals, and strategies. Align Field Reporting priorities appropriately, determine critical success factors, evaluate, and pursue initiatives, investments and opportunities based on fit with business strategies.  

  • Lead the development and implementation of the field reporting strategy, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives and goals.  

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap and backlog for field reporting, ensuring clear communication and transparency across the organization.  

  • Define and prioritize product requirements, creating user stories, and maintaining a product backlog in collaboration with the development team.  

  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product releases, ensuring that the field reporting product meets quality standards and customer expectations.  

  • Ensure that systems are architected in a way that results in technology synergies and simplified support to help manage multi-vendor relationships and Home Office Data Integrations.  

  • Monitor and analyze product usage metrics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive product enhancements.  

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to field reporting, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the product and drive business growth.

( 30%) Nurturing business and stakeholder relationships by :  


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial Operations, BTS (Business Technology Solutions), Field Sales, to drive the successful delivery of field reporting solutions.

  • Conduct regular product demonstrations and presentations to internal and external stakeholders to highlight new features and gather feedback.

  • Provide management oversight, coaching, and mentoring 2 to 6 direct or indirect reports. You will report directly to the Director of Field Platforms. Also, will effectively work with Associate Director, Director, and VP (Vice President) level business leaders across Sales, Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and Commercial Operations to drive results.

  • Propose, initiate, and lead programs that transform a Brands processes or technology capabilities. As well as develop comprehensive project estimates and timelines by soliciting input and collecting feedback from all impacted stakeholders.

( 30%) Ensure that as BTS we are consistent in applying our core capabilities to deliver technology solutions with speed, agility, and efficiency by :  


  • Responsible for compliance with applicable AbbVie Policies and procedures.  

  • Manage an IT (Information Technology) investment budget of $1MM to $3MM. 

  • Manage a team of employees and contract resources.  

  • You will be responsible for planning and overseeing a portfolio of technology projects from ideation to completion, including securing cross-functional alignment on project scope, benefits, cost, and timeline.  

  • Work across IT and business functions to negotiate and secure the availability of resources to meet demand.

Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

 


Qualifications

 

Experiences that are required for this role:  

Required:  


  • Bachelor's Degree with 9 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 8 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience.  

  • Proven record of accomplishment of effective IT project leadership and positive results. Keep calm and execute while self-managing time and priorities. Work with minimal oversight; deliverables and relationships are monitored through periodic reviews and act with urgency and passion. Help others be successful.  

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build trust, listen, and ask effective questions. Able to give context while influencing without authority and managing expectations/demands.  

  • Experience in software product management: Experience in managing software products, from ideation to launch, including defining product features, developing roadmaps, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver products.  

  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, interpret metrics, and make data-driven decisions.  

  • Technical proficiency: Strong technical acumen, including experience working with software development teams, and agile software development methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Innovative thinking and the ability to leverage experience to be successful in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Interest in technology trends and application of technology to improve end user’s experience.

  • Financial acumen.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor direct reports.
