Job Description

The Associate Director, Omnichannel Partner Lead (“Omni Partner Lead”) is a role that will lead a team of Omnichannel Marketing Partners that support Franchise E (brands ELAHERE & Teliso-V) within US Oncology, as part of the AbbVie Digital Lab. The Omni Partner team serves as a key role in ensuring HCP customer engagement is personalized, relevant, and data-driven through partnership with the brand and sales teams, as well as our center teams including MABI, BTS, FPAT, and others. In addition to the people management / Team Lead aspect, this role will serve as the strategic leader for evolution of the Omni Partner role itself, the OP team, and serve as point for developing cross-functional strategies, working with functional leadership teams, and driving aligned OP execution.

Primary Job Function

  • People manage a team of Omnichannel Marketing Partners (OPs)
  • Lead formalizing, compiling, and sharing of best practices across Omni Partners as a national capability, and cascade and socialize across regions and functions where needed
  • Drive forward the role of the Omni Partner as a key capability of the AbbVie Digital Lab – evolve the role, determine the best uses of people, process, and technology to increase HCP engagement and reach
  • Provide leadership within the Omnichannel cross-functional team to influence the team of cross-functional partners (Lab, Brand, MABI, BTS, Sales, etc.) to build solutions, processes, and campaigns that deliver increased HCP engagement, reach, and more personalized communications
  • Develop strategic plans, partner with functional leadership, and lead subsequent Omni Partner execution to integrate with extended functions of the IBT’s, such as:
  • Medical Affairs (MSL’s)
  • Thought Leader Liaisons (TLL’s)
  • Sales Training
  • Sales Operations
  • Marketing Brand Teams
  • Lead regular strategic top-down and bottom-up analytical optimization sessions in partnership with Omnichannel Core team members (and resulting Omni Partner pull-through priorities) to drive brand objectives.
  • Lead functional partnership with OEC and Legal to ensure that ongoing operations and evolution remain compliant.
  • Lead development and execution of updates to Executive Leadership, in partnership with the [Brand] AD/Brand Lead.
  • Translate brand strategic imperatives (SIs) into strategies, tactics, and ideas that the Resonance team can execute in order to drive business impact.
  • Work with cross-functional leadership within Franchise E to design support structures and engagement models for each respective brand (Elahere, Teliso-V)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced Degree a plus
  • 10+ years total experience
  • 3+ years sales experience, or directly supporting sales
  • Additional plus for any Oncology experience (bonus, not required)
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with digital marketing and analytics tools (Web analytics, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Customer Data Platforms (CDP), etc.
  • Experience developing measurement frameworks (candidate has led how a marketing or change management program should be measured and evaluated, and then pulled through)
  • Hands on keyboard’ reporting and analysis – (advanced excel, pivot tables, data visualization)
  • 5+ years of cross-functional/matrixed organizational ways of working and applied leadership
  • 3+ years of applied digital media experience
  • Digital media campaign management (budgeting, targeting, optimization)
  • Customer relationship management software (CRM – Salesforce, Marketo, Veeva, etc.)
  • Prior roles that effectively show applied experiences driving Sales + Marketing + Analytics performance and tactical execution concurrently.

  • Loves numbers and digging into data, but able to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communications skills – written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Demonstrated ability to present to executive audiences & varied stakeholders
  • Ability to manage several concurrent tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Experience with medical/regulatory/legal review processes
