This is a superb opportunity to join a dynamic team within the global Neuroscience Franchise at AbbVie, responsible for Migraine, growing our current indication as well as launching new toxin indications. 

Role overview:

This role is integral to the Global Brand Team ambition to maintain and grow our market leadership in Migraine. You will be responsible for strategic planning working alongside the migraine team to ensure appropriate co-positioning and working closely with our cross functional team to deliver this program. 

Reporting to the International Brand Leader for the Toxin Portfolio, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of product launch, growing current CM business and ensuring collaboration with teams to ensure appropriate co-positioning- and excellence in all aspects of the launch process across our international markets. The candidate will collaborate and engage with a matrixed team, which includes (but not limited to): market access, medical affairs, finance, regulatory, legal, supply operations, health economics, clinical development, R&D, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, and sales training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-create 1-7-5 plan for Migraine working closely with cross functional teams and monitor implementation across affiliates.
  • Prepare for exceptional international brand launch and co-create launch strategies with Affiliates. 
  • Collaborate closely with area marketing teams to co create marketing assets and localise launch plans and adapt messaging and positioning to resonate with target audiences in different markets. 
  • Establish clear launch readiness criteria and ensure that all stakeholders are adequately prepared for launch through effective communication, training, and support. 
  • Track and analyse launch performance metrics across markets to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance launch processes and maximize overall launch effectiveness. 
  • Share best practices across affiliates and lead external expert insights to continue to refine launch tactics and strategies. 
  • Co-create acceleration strategies with Affiliates and Area teams to ensure appropriate resourcing and investment.
  • Establish clear growth criteria and ensure that all stakeholders are adequately trained to maximise assets through effective communication, training, and support. 
  • Collaborate and lead by example with cross functional and cross geographic teams to generate effective brand strategies and tactical plans to deliver business results. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements to inform strategies and tactics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 
  • Significant relevant marketing/agency experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. 
  • Excellent diplomacy and facilitation skills; ability to influence without authority. 
  • Solid business acumen, including budget management. 
  • Strong attention to detail - ensures accuracy of communications. 
  • Skilled at planning, project management, time management, communicating, decision-making, organizational relations. 

Desirable:

  • Multiple experiences within commercial pharmaceutical roles (Brand, MHC, Sales, BD, NPD). 
  • Understanding of attributes of other functional areas and impact of relevant decisions. Knowledge of marketing concepts within strategic planning process. 
  • Experience and ability to demonstrate financial planning and analysis skills. 
  • Experience in product launches on a Global level.
