Job Description

Reporting to RINVOQ & SKYRIZI Rheumatology Spondylarthritis (SpA) Director, as part of the International Marketing team, this position supports the development and execution of the Psoriatic Arthritis marketing strategies and tactics at the International, Areas, and Country-Affiliate level. Collaborates and engages with a matrixed team, which includes (but not limited to): market access, medical affairs, finance, regulatory, legal, supply operations, health economics, clinical development, R&D, public affairs, medical and regulatory review, patient relations, business insights, OEC, sales training & US colleagues

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leads cross functional team and International affiliates to generate effective brand strategies and competitive readiness plans that deliver business results in PsA.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and translates product, brand, customer, patient, and relevant information to frame and solve business problems and build effective marketing plans.
  • Effectively directs research team efforts in primary research projects and understands the healthcare business environment including familiarity with International markets and payers, distribution channels, and pricing strategies.
  • Experience in the analysis of financial and market results to optimize business plans; ability to assist in the development of financial plans (Annual plans and LRP).
  • Monitors and leads International marketing programs and activities within budgeted constraints while understanding the fundamental aspects of financial performance.
  • Develops and articulates effective marketing strategies that provide impact, are executable, easily communicated, and clinically/financially supported for areas of responsibility (product/indication/channel).
  • Demonstrates ability to segment a market, select optimal target audiences and position effectively for the target segment.
  • Co-create with Areas and affiliates the appropriate action plans if lack of performance is identified.
  • Effectively leads projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion to meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Manage external medical conferences, engage with external customers and establish/maintain relationships with key opinion leaders where appropriate.
  • Ensures that regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed.

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 
  • Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
  • Logical and Strategic thinking capability
  • Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Effective communication and networking skills that build successful working relationships with a broad range of internal cross-functional stakeholders and matrix environment.
