The Associate Director, Interactive Visual Aid (IVA) is part of the Digital Lab Channel Platforms & Content Optimization team and will be responsible for onboarding, training, and leading a team of IVA specialists who create and route Veeva CLM (Closed Loop Marketing) IVA (interactive Visual Aide) content for HCP Marketing teams across the enterprise.
Responsibilities include:
- Onboard, train and lead high performing team of IVA specialists who are responsible for iterative IVA creation, management and oversight, confirming requirements with brand marketing, creating IVAs, routing through the material review process for approval, sharing project plans and project status reports, conduct status meetings, follow up / communicate with all stakeholders to ensure on-time, flawless execution.
- Support needs and delivery plans with HCP team members to drive effective end to end planning and delivering flawless execution of the IVAs.
- Manage, coach, and develop team to:
- Learn the business for their respective therapeutic areas/brands.
- Effectively work with multiple departments and agencies throughout project development and implementation to keep projects on time and ensure all requirements are met.
- Proactively manage workload and continuously look for ways to improve brand IVAs to meet brands' objectives and goals by reviewing performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and communicating them to the marketing team.
- Develop and maintain project documents, timelines, proofing checklists, and status reports. Possess minute-by-minute knowledge of all work in progress, identify risks and ways to mitigate issues.
- Partner with cross functional / agency teams to create processes to capture requirements, gain approvals, document metadata and verify data elements needed to execute IVAs.
- Document change requests, notify the team, and understand timeline implications. Seek standardization, automation, and process improvement wherever possible to deliver on vision for the team of faster, better, cheaper year over year.
- Prioritization workload across team members, support several brands at a time and can constantly shift gears to address current and future business needs. Ensure team provides exemplary customer service while setting and maintaining client expectations.
- Demonstrable expertise in complex Veeva CLM development/deployment, AEM (Adobe Experience Manager). Informal team leadership and managing client interaction.
- Know how to Build/ Develop Veeva CLM via content provided by marketing teams in a Veeva CLM creation environment within AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).
- Partner with internal or external agencies when any design files need updating.
- Serve as the Project originator for routing completed Veeva CLMs through the Material Review Process before handoff to the Marketing and Sales teams in a highly regulated environment.
- Create/Maintain an inventory of components and template types across the enterprise enabling broad use of successful functionality, layouts, etc.
- Provide enhancement ideas and any issues with the Veeva CLM content creation platform to the Veeva CLM product owner informing the enhancement roadmap.
- Participate in agency feedback sessions to gain exposure to other advertising agencies using the tool.
- Manage budget for enterprise support and resourcing
- Ensure high quality, on-time, and error free implementation, testing and QA of IVAs within the IVA creation platform. Employ standard quality control process and procedure throughout the entire setup process to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee and support Issue Management from identification through resolution and ensure corrective/preventative action implemented for IVA builds, rendering and campaign tracking.
- Create, own, and maintain the IVA product playbook, enhancing our ways of working overtime to further reduce timelines and handoffs to increase speed to market. Ensure all teams creating IVAs, internal and external, are following the playbook which covers capturing/documenting requirements, workflow process, and ensuring we maintain high 1st pass rates and socialize across the organization.
- This role requires operation within our hybrid model (3 days in office). We are only considering talent located within the following location(s): Mettawa, IL.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Business or Marketing.
- 10+ years’ experience with Veeva CRM experience creating, building, and executing IVAs.
- Experience developing Veeva CLM
- Experience building and leading high performing teams (3+ years’ experience)
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Assets.
- Digital marketing or interactive agency experience is a plus.
- Ability to think strategically with a strong ability to execute and exceed stakeholder expectations and project goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong client service and project management skills; in particular, must have the ability to communicate with both business and technical individuals effectively.
- Skilled at editing and proofreading: Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofing skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience in Pharma preferred but not required.

- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. Salary: $137,500 - 261,000

- This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
