Job Description

The Associate Director of Integrated Marketing & Consulting Strategy & Operations is a key partner and operational leader to the VP. This role is focused on driving strategic initiatives, stakeholder management, and operational efficiency. This role involves supporting communications, operations, events, processes, and reporting that will enhance clarity and accelerate team effectiveness to achieve business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executive Enablement & Leadership Support
    • Act as a liaison for the VP, synthesizing essential information for decision-making and proactively addressing needs
    • Partner with and support VP’s leadership team with any projects, asks, or data needs
  • Business Operations & Rhythm:
    • Establish and maintain an operating rhythm, key metrics, and dashboards/ frameworks that align with strategic priorities
    • Develop a centralized line of sight on the Integrated Marketing & Consulting leadership team’s workstreams and roadmaps for updates, opportunities, and pending roadblocks
  • Strategic Planning & Operations
    • Support & maintain fiscal year and headcount planning, budget, and OKR/KPIs processes
    • Assist with translating AA priorities into Integrated Marketing & Consulting operational initiatives
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Draft internal and external communications, presentations, and reports on behalf of the VP (and in partnership with AA Comms team)
    • Strategize, collaborate (in partnership with Executive Assistant and AA Meetings team) and drive internal/external events such as executive meetings, advisory boards, LT meetings, all hands, offsites, and customer meetings including agendas, materials, and follow-ups
    • Support and cascade key initiatives around purpose, talent development, culture, training, decision making, priorities, and change management to help nurture and scale the team
  • Cross-Functional Alignment
    • Work cross-functionally to ensure communication is efficient and clear between teams and across the AA organization
    • Coordinate support between functions such as HR, Facilities, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, BTS and others to ensure disciplined execution and timeline adherence
  • Special Projects & Process Improvement
    • Identify, evolve, and improve systems and processes, to allow the teams to function effectively and efficiently
    • Design, structure and lead strategic projects – identify opportunities to drive commercial performance, conduct analysis to support these opportunities, develop actionable plans to bring them to life, and tactically guide their execution

  • A trusted partnership with the VP and leadership team
  • Strong and consistent internal and external engagement touchpoints and relationships

Who You Are:

  • A strategic thinker with experience in leading without authority and operating in cross-functional teams.
  • An engaging communicator with excellent storytelling and public speaking skills.
  • Comfortable managing high-pressure situations with strong project management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience in a combination of business operations, management consulting, or equivalent field
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders
  • Strong program/project management experience, with the ability to lead initiatives from concept through execution
  • Data driven mindset: skilled at using quantitative and qualitative metrics to inform decision making
  • Proven track record with operational execution, change management, analytical problem solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration
  • A self-starter with ability to rapidly build trust and drive alignment across functions

Preferred Qualities:

  • Executive presence and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience in change management and scaling operations
