As a member of the BOTOX® Therapeutic Marketing team, the Associate Director will be responsible for building and executing health care provider marketing plans for the Cervical Dystonia indication for BOTOX. Key responsibilities include brand strategy, annual brand planning, HCP segmentation, HCP digital ecosystems, non-personal promotion, tactical plan execution and sales force alignment.

 

 

The Associate Director will engage and collaborate with a broad cross-functional team including external partners such as media and creative agencies, expert physicians and advocacy organizations.  Internal partners include regulatory, legal, public affairs, managed care, medical and advocacy teams. Close partnership with the associated BOTOX® Therapeutic indication teams is also required.

 

 

The Associate Director will manage the professional marketing budget to drive the business goals for the brand in the U.S.   The Associate Director must demonstrate the ability to influence and lead cross-functionally to ensure all elements of professional marketing are rooted in strategy and consistent across all touchpoints. Critical to the role will be exceptional leadership abilities, modern marketing acumen and ability to develop strong relationships. The candidate must demonstrate effective skills in leading people and projects, and the ability to deliver quality performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

 

 

Specific responsibilities:

 

 

• Develop HCP marketing programs and collaborate with cross functional team members to ensure consistency and flawless execution across all relevant channels

 

 

• Lead in the development of annual brand planning, including business objectives, strategies and translation of strategies to marketing programs and campaigns

 

 

• Collaborate with external agencies to develop creative content and messaging

 

 

• Lead in the strategic development of the media mix and the execution of the media plan alongside internal Media COE and external media partners. Continuously analyze data to inform media optimization.

 

 

• Lead the implementation of marketing programs from concept to execution, driving collaboration among internal and external partners

 

 

• Manage ecosystem of external partners, including creative agency, media agency and web development team to ensure partners have clear direction to execute on time and within budget.

 

 

• Partner with social media team to develop strategies and content for the social media channels; proactively recommend strategies to improve/refine campaigns to achieve broader consideration and drive conversion and test new platforms

 

 

• Develop effective working relationships with Regulatory, Legal, Medical and Compliance counterparts to ensure all creative meet requirements

 

 

• Participate in market research and integrate insights into tactical execution

 

 

• Lead the management and maintenance of brand websites, coordinate with internal development team to ensure web updates are planned and deployed in a timely fashion.

 

 

• Provide analysis and reports on paid media execution

 

 

• Develop and manage overall professional budget

Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

 


Qualifications

Qualifications

 

• Bachelors degree in related field required, MBA or related Master’s Degree preferred

 

 

• Marketing/brand management experience executing marketing campaigns with preferred experience in pharma or CPG marketing

 

 

• Exceptional leadership skills and marketing savvy; Agency Management experience preferred

 

 

• Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

 

 

• Solid business acumen and ability to translate business and brand strategy into marketing programs

 

 

• Strong written and interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various levels/grades within the organization.

 

 

• Proven digital marketing prowess

 

 

• Strong budget management experience

 

 

• Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude

 

 

• Flexible, adaptable and able to navigate fast-changing environment
