Job Description

Clinical Site Centricity drives the collection, synthesis, and action planning around site feedback and the strategic communications infrastructure that contributes to strengthening the partnership between AbbVie and our clinical trial sites. The Associate Director, Clinical Site Centricity sits within the Clinical Development Operations (CDO) organization. This role will report into the Director, Clinical Site Centricity.

  • Track KPIs for customer centricity, including sponsor preference, reputation scores, and attribute ratings, to position AbbVie as the prioritized partner of choice.
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research to solicit insights from clinical sites that inform operational excellence and site experience
  • Define and answer key business questions leveraging site survey data and collaborate with data analytics partners to deliver analyses with quality
  • Lead the development and readout of presentations that enable sharing of clinical site centricity insights with internal stakeholders including leadership
  • Create customer-centric communications content and talking points to clearly describe topics related to AbbVie clinical operations
  • In collaboration with partners, facilitate the development of integrated communication channels with clinical sites and establish communications best practices
  • Contribute to the advancement of survey implementation technology and analysis including opportunities for software and AI to automate and refine data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure research methods and communications are compliant with all procedures and regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, extensive experience in Clinical Operations, Communications, Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience.
  • High level of familiarity with clinical drug development process
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and collaborative style.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience developing scientific or health-related communications content and ability to assimilate and synthesize key themes from qualitative and quantitative data
  • Confidence to lead structured meetings and presentations including data-driven insights, comfortable with qualitative and quantitative data including basic statistical analyses
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize with minimal direction. Ability to multitask and independently lead projects and meet key deadlines.
  • Strong leader – who can coach and develop direct reports as well as influence without authority, Demonstrates ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and navigate a matrixed organization
  • Ability to adopt a customer centric mindset and understand diverse perspectives
  • Demonstrates innovative mindset and openness to new ideas, feedback, and technologies
  • Detail oriented with attention to quality
