Responsibilities
Program Management and Accountability:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and BTS teams to successfully plan and deliver strategic programs for patient services in Immunology area.
- Think and act like a strategic technology consulting partner who works alongside business in discovering, understanding and clarifying business needs and translate those needs into meaningful solutions for AbbVie.
- Actively engage in developing technology roadmaps, evaluating solutions, building partnerships and enabling capabilities for patient services function.
- Establishes periodic business reviews with key stakeholders, executive sponsors, and working team members to share program oversight, timeline & budget tracking, and progress updates.
- Oversee all aspects of projects like scope, estimates, requirements, changes, testing & validation, go to market and communication across different phases to ensure delivery of effective solutions. Manage people, budgets, timelines and risk to ensure overall program is delivered smoothly.
- Participate in BTS financial planning cycles to ensure the appropriate needs are tracked, supported via business case, funds are managed and monitored effectively against planned objectives.
Techno-Functional Consulting:
- Brings deep understanding in commercial processes & capabilities like Benefit verification, prior authorization, claims adjudication, innovative payment technologies, pharmacy & medical billing, understanding of commonly used standards (NCPDP, FHIR, HL7, HIPAA) to address evolving needs of our patient services function.
- Brings in-depth understanding of integration between CRM solutions/platforms, data solutions , AI/ML, mobile solutions and analytics solutions in delivering best-in-class patient experience across the patient journey.
- Collaborates with BTS leadership, Business partners and Vendor partners to conduct periodic benchmarking exercises against industry trends/standards to ensure a drive for capability evolution and operational excellence.
- Continues to develop and manage effective knowledge forums for sharing trends that impact BTS strategy and roadmap; collaborate with business to adjust BTS roadmap.
Relationship & People Management:
- Builds collaborative relationships and effectively interacts with business and/or technology senior leadership and vice to ensure alignment and support for technology initiatives. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Interacts well with diverse groups across business and technology functions and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
- Lead team of Product owners, business analysts and technical experts who drive patient services agenda and own various critical applications across eco system.
- As a manager having people management responsibilities establish open and honest communication channels with direct team members, ensuring transparency in objectives, expectations, and feedback. Set clear and measurable goals for team members, providing regular performance feedback and conducting evaluations based on objective criteria.

- Bachelor's Degree with 9 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 8 years’ experience; PhD with 4 years’ experience
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, business administration or a related discipline. Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. The candidate should be able to understand complex business processes, identify areas for improvement, and translate business requirements into technical solutions. The candidate should be able to evaluate options and make informed decisions to drive successful outcomes.
- Experience working with top-tier consulting firms is highly desirable. The individual should have breadth of experience in access & reimbursement processes e.g. claims adjudication, benefit verification, prior authorization, copay assistance and payment tech, medical billing, financial assistance etc. The individual should be able to demonstrate his experience through key initiatives and case studies.
- Experience in digital solutions and connected ecosystems like consumer digital journey, customer data platform, consumer apps/devices, consumer campaign and omni-channel marketing, consumer campaign.
- At least 10 years of experience in business relationship management, demand planning, defining IT roadmap, needs prioritization, purchasing and sourcing IT solutions and financial planning. The individual should be adept at converting ideas into solutions, managing scope, business blueprints and requirements.
- At least 5 years of experience in business relationship management and demand planning. The individual should be able to work with less than perfect information and devise plans, organize charter, lead people, secure funding, do detailed planning and communicate value to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language is of utmost importance.
- People leadership including performance management and development. 3-4 years supervisory and employee development experience. 2-3 years strategic IT planning experience
Preferred
- Product owner /Scrum master certification is preferred
- Understanding of SalesForce platforms like Data Cloud, Market Cloud, Agentforce
- Understanding of Cloud, data, AI/ML, GenAI, functional and technology stack.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
