Job Description

Default point of contact for BTS with the business; brokers contracts between BTS and the business and resolves client and BTS relationship issues. Manages and provides expert advice on the selection, design, justification, implementation and business use of information systems. Analyzes business processes; elicits, analyzes, and documents business requirements; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility and makes recommendations typically seeking to exploit and leverage new or existing technology components. Translates business requirements into functional requirements; performs data and process modeling; manages change; and leads, coordinates / performs testing, verification, and validation of requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Elicits and communicates the organization’s business strategy; works directly with business unit clients to understand specific business processes and needs and opportunities for improvement; identifies IT capabilities and information required to support the business processes and collaborates in the development of appropriate information management strategies, developing them as an integrated part of the business strategy.
  • Analyzing business needs and translating them into Salesforce solutions that optimize efficiency.
  • Acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and the Salesforce system, ensuring effective communication and process improvements.
  • Defining and managing technical requirements, leading user story creation, solution design, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Tracking and managing project execution, ensuring progress, action items, and accountability.
  • Driving process improvements, continuously optimizing Salesforce workflows for better business outcomes.
  • Exercises latitude in determining objectives of assignment. Has defined authority and responsibility for a significant area of work, including technical, financial and quality aspects. Establishes organizational objectives and delegates assignments. Accountable for actions and decisions taken by self and subordinates.
  • Accountable for the accuracy of the fit of the proposed solution to the business needs and the information upon which the business justification and prioritization decisions are made. Also accountable for communicating business need and drivers to development groups to assure the implementation phase can fulfill the business need.
  • Proven ability to analyze business needs, identify process inefficiencies, and design scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Expertise in writing user stories, conducting user testing, and reviewing deliverables for quality assurance.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and accountability.
  • Developing solutions with a data-driven approach and an outcome-oriented mindset, ensuring decisions are guided by insights and measurable impact
  • Comfortable navigating high ambiguity and constant change, acting assertively yet respectfully.

 

***This is a hybrid position that would require 4 days on-site at our Mettawa location.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience; PhD with 0 years’ experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator with 2+ years of hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, working with Salesforce applications and enterprise digital transformations.
  • Salesforce (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein, Agentforce) and platform configurations.
  • SQL for basic querying and data analysis
  • Project management frameworks (Agile, Jira, Confluence) to track deliverables effectively.
  • Data visualization tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, MS Visio, Lucid chart for process mapping and analysis.
  • Collaboration & communication tools for stakeholder engagement and team coordination.

Beneficial:
