In the role of Associate Business Systems Consultant, you’ll tackle complex challenges as you develop and diversify your professional experiences while helping others grow and develop their skills.
Purpose:
As part of the Cloud and Automation organization, Business Systems Consultancy is critical in supporting Abbvie BTO and Business teams in delivering automation solutions that drive business value and process efficiency. In collaboration with delivery and product management, this role will provide pipeline oversight, facilitating/leading execution of client engagements in compliance with automation service delivery standards.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Drive Pipeline growth: Understand and drive leadership of the automation pipeline success. Provide input for project estimates, schedule, and cost/resource constraints with respective project teams. Assist customers in developing automation strategies and roadmaps while also providing guidance on automation technologies best practices, and overall program governance.
Financial and Technology FIT Assessment Planning: Works with business and IT management to establish and gain consensus on automation requirements, value proposition, project goals, objectives, financials, and deliverables. In partnership with delivery management, plan, execute, monitor and control project deliverables from inception to closure. Monitor and ensure SDLC process steps are followed within the teams.
Pipeline Health Communication: Partner with Automation Delivery Management on communicating Program progress by producing timely and accurate status and decision support information to project teams, business, and IT management. Makes recommendations based on current pipeline status to resolve issues and manage risks.
Pipeline Resource Forecasting: Partner with Automation Delivery management and Development partner to coordinate resources to ensure project needs are met based on forecast pipeline demand.
Drive Continuous Process Improvements and Governance: Responsibility of identifying opportunities and assessing needs for automation, delivering strategic analysis and decision making, supporting proof of concept, and prototyping with our Business Technology. Escalate issues that need permanent Process changes.
Delivery Excellence: Ensure that process standards and best practices are published, maintained, and enforced. Work hand-in-hand with delivery manager and technical architects for delivery of effective, high-quality solutions. As part of project delivery, iidentify/translate business needs/requirements and transform those requirements into automated solutions by supporting any defined Business Technology Services requirements such as Systems integrations, testing, documentation (SLC) requirements and compliance.
Metrics: Ongoing monitoring of benefits realized as part of the pipeline delivery's and recommend optimizations to improve automation efficiencies
Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in computer Science or Business with a minor in CompSci with 4-6 years’ experience; Master’s Degree with 5 years’ experience;
Familiarity with major intelligent automation vendors (Blue Prism, UiPath, Power Automate, etc); Process mining and familiarity a plus.
Background in delivering intelligent automation solutions with a focus on business proves architecture and analysis.
Strong Problem-solving skills and understanding of SDLC including documentation, testing and project management.
Experience in creating process definition documents.
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
Ability to Deliber Technical Demonstrations
Previous experience supporting GxP, regulated solutions a plus
