We have an opportunity for an Associate Account Manager, Internal Agency to join our team. In this role, you will support the Internal Agency team by helping coordinate client needs, facilitate communication between clients and production teams, and ensure project deliverables are met in line with strategy and regulatory requirements. This role reports to the Internal Agency Lead.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing the health and performance of assigned client accounts, focusing on AbbVie Care and Specialty Projects.
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, supporting the building of strong relationships and positive client experiences, under the direction of the Internal Agency Lead
- Help facilitate communication and input sessions with stakeholders to clarify content needs and strategic objectives.
- Convert client business needs and regulatory considerations into clear, actionable briefs for internal teams.
- Work with creative and production teams to ensure deliverables align with client objectives.
- Help present and explain creative concepts and recommended tactics to clients, with oversight from Agency leadership.
- Track project progress and help ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and share status updates and basic analytics with clients and agency leads.
- Spot opportunities to support brand teams through expanded services, with guidance.
- Ensure compliance with AbbVie branding and regulatory standards (PAAB, Ad Standards Canada), escalating compliance issues to senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with branding standards and relevant regulatory agencies (e.g., PAAB, Ad Standards Canada), advising clients and internal teams as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain expert knowledge of client markets, proactively providing relevant insights or recommendations to further client goals.
Education/ Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Marketing or a related field.
- 3 years’ experience in advertising or marketing, preferably with exposure to regulated industries (pharmaceutical experience is an asset).
- Experience supporting or coordinating marketing campaigns and project deliverables.
Essential skills and abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Veeva Promo Mats and Smartsheets (an asset)
- Understanding of digital assets (images, videos, formats) and development basics.
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills in both English and French.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Aptitude for building relationships and working collaboratively.
- Ability to follow compliance guidelines within a regulated industry.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
