AbbVie HQ Europe is recruiting an Area Brand Finance Manager, Oncology. This role will report to the Area Brand Finance Lead, working closely with the Oncology Area Commercial Team. Additional stakeholders include Area President, Regional VPs, Area Market Access Director, Area Controller, and Global Marketing Finance.
In this role, you will provide Brand Finance Managers, the FD, and commercial counterparts with intuitive Oncology-related financial analysis, financial support, and ensure strategic imperatives are implemented in accordance with the company’s & Area’s goals.
Missions:
- Provide strategic decision-making in Brand Teams
- Continuously enhance brand and market knowledge
- Be an active Brand Team member, support the decision-making process, and challenge all brand-related assumptions and activities
- Drive Plan, LRP, LBE processes for Oncology across Europe
- Provide counselling on the financial impact of any specific ideas and financial KPI for specific actions
- Ensure relevant monthly analysis and commentary are provided (actual performance, commercial models, price/volume variances)
- Assist in asset launch preparation through the development of investment analysis and volume scenarios with the affiliates and provide insights to IMCO to develop clear brand guidance.
- Coordinate the Area CCS monitoring for Oncology
- Implement improved processes, systems, and analytical tools to improve the quality of forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis.
- Evaluate the way of operating and make suggestions for automating processes and increasing working efficiency.
- Requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive FP&A experience in the pharma industry in a commercial environment
- Strong communication skills, able to summarize complex business dynamics into deliverables for executives
- Builds strong relationships with peers and cross-functionally to enable higher performance.
- Deals comfortably with ambiguity, uncertainty, and risk.
- Learns fast, grasps the “essence” and can change course quickly where indicated.

From a practical point of view and daily work life: currently located in Rungis, the headquarters of AbbVie France will be relocated to 11 Boulevard, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt by the end of 2025. The new premises along the Seine will host the France and Europe teams, both therapeutic and aesthetic, in two newly renovated seven-story buildings within a campus of four buildings.
Each floor will be equipped with meeting rooms and relaxation areas to promote collaboration and informal exchanges. The premises will also have outdoor spaces, including a green inner courtyard and a private rooftop with a view of the Seine, exclusively for AbbVie employees.
