Lead the creation, development and implementation of the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) medical education strategy for the Cluster North LATAM . Design learning journeys and an academic curriculum aligned with scientific, commercial and Medical Affairs objectives. Advance healthcare professionals' clinical knowledge and skills through balanced scientific exchange that supports the safe and effective use of the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio. Build and strengthen the Faculty and KOL community to deliver high-quality, compliant education.
1. Medical education strategy, curriculum and content
Develop the medical education strategy and tactical plan in line with global, regional and local direction. Design differentiated learning journeys for students, beginner, intermediate, advanced and Faculty audiences. Create, adapt and oversee scientific and clinical content, and maintain its relevance based on market trends, competitor activity and captured insights. Lead the evolution of AMI Digital, webinars, clinical applications and emerging learning technologies.
2. Faculty and KOL management, development and engagement
Design and implement a continuous development programme for Faculty and Speakers. Serve as the principal contact for understanding needs, capturing insights, strengthening teaching capabilities and maintaining transparent communication. Build individual development plans and enable strategic participation in congresses, symposia and academic activities.
3. Operational execution, special projects and educational events
Lead and oversee the operating model for educational events and workshops, coordinating vendors and internal functions to ensure high-quality execution in accordance with company policies and procedures. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Business Excellence, Legal, Regulatory and OEC.
4. Financial and Business Acumen, KPIs and process efficiency
Manage and optimise the AMI budget through strategic resource allocation. Monitor and consolidate financial and non-financial KPIs in line with international and local policy to enable data-based decisions. Establish feedback and insight mechanisms with the field force to continuously improve workshops, content and tools.
5. Team leadership, compliance and ethics
Provide direction, coaching and development to operational support and any assigned AMI team members, fostering accountability and excellence. Ensure that all educational initiatives, materials and events comply with applicable local laws, corporate ethics and compliance policies, and regulatory requirements.
Professional degree in a health science discipline, such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or Biology. A medical degree is desirable. Postgraduate specialisation or master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Sciences, Medical Education or Health Administration is preferred.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, medical aesthetics or healthcare sector.
• Experience in medical education programmes, training, Faculty development, Medical Affairs or a Medical Advisor role is preferred.
• Experience in strategic project management and budget management is preferred.
• Experience interacting, negotiating and influencing KOLs, Speakers and healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Advanced spoken and written English is required for coordination with regional and global teams.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership and influence, effective scientific communication, results orientation, learning agility, attention to detail and digital fluency.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
