Purpose
We are searching for an experienced and passionate AEM Engineer to join our Product Development and Engineering Center of Excellence. Our team delivers and leads the organization’s adoption of agile processes, modern tools, platforms, and best practices. This engineer will join the AEM architecture and platform team to support our AEM Cloud platform and build a catalog of reusable components and integrations to support global brand sites and digital products for leading Allergan Aesthetics brands.
Software engineers in our team work collaboratively and are expected to find novel solutions for problems, provide feedback to improve our ways of working, and deliver reliable and reusable code. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, and skilled in building consensus across multi-disciplinary teams. You will work closely with a team of architects and engineers to define and deliver best-in-class experiences.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the operation, architecture, development, and governance of AEM Cloud Service platform.
- Build and iterate a comprehensive set of shared components and services for sites and products on AEM Sites
- Work to evaluate and implement integrations with other Adobe or third-party products
- Create and consume REST and GraphQL services and APIs
- Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers
- Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base
- Collaborate on defining internal processes, tools, and application architecture
- Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team
- Collaborate with the business and product teams, including product managers, UX and visual designers, and fellow engineers
- Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base
- Work with DevOps and QA teams to optimize performance and experience
- Work with product team to refine product requirements as user stories
- Collaborate with agencies and colleagues on product experience design
- Contribute to an AEM community of practice, aiming to continuously improve and homogenize our investments and ways of working
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of software development experience using java, AEM and other full stack technology
- Experience with AEM, Headless architecture
- Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile software development, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews)

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
