Operations Development Program:
AbbVie's Operations Development Program (ODP) is a global, full-time, three-year rotational leadership development program for early-career engineers and scientists. Through three diverse and challenging 12-month rotations, ODP members gain broad exposure to AbbVie Operations, build functional and leadership capabilities, contribute to hands-on projects, and prepare for future operations leadership opportunities at AbbVie.
Assignment rotations may include opportunities in the following areas:
Manufacturing, Engineering, and Contract Manufacturing
Quality
Product Development, Science & Technology
Supply Chain
Locations:
Program members will be placed in one of the following U.S. locations for their first rotation.
Branchburg, New Jersey
Irvine, California
Lake County, Illinois
Waco, Texas
Worcester, Massachusetts
Mobility is a key component of this program. Program members will work in at least two AbbVie locations during the program and will be assigned their first location and rotation based on business needs. Depending on the assignment, program members may also have the opportunity to travel as part of their rotational experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be currently enrolled in university and completing final year of studies in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Completion of bachelor’s degree prior to the intended full-time start date.
Minimum of one internship or co-op completed.
Must demonstrate leadership skills through extracurricular activities, projects, work experience, or other relevant experiences.
Mobility is a key requirement. Program members must complete at least one assignment at a U.S. Operations plant and rotate to different sites based on business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, adapt to change, bring forward innovative ideas, take initiative, and act with integrity.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.

Where We Work
Role is primarily site- or office-based but can occasionally be performed remotely. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely*, following the policies and regulations in place at their location. US Employees must be in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays. Three days in the office is the minimum; some individuals or teams may require more in-office days due to meetings, business/project needs or their role.
