We would like to give you a unique opportunity to get to know the area of ICEx better. We are looking for an intern (m/f/d) in our data science team.

This internship position is located in Wiesbaden, Germany (full-time).

YOUR TASKS

• Support AbbVie's International Winning with Data (WWD) Team in all relevant areas of the Data Science project cycle (Business & Data Understanding, Data Preparation, Modeling & Evaluation) for scalable and modular solutions
• Carry out descriptive and exploratory analyses in Python/PySpark, especially on the basis of structured data
• Develop statistical models in Python with both supervised and unsupervised methods
• Work on advanced KPI-modeling for marketing and sales teams
• Present results to the team and multiple stakeholders on local, area and international level
• Take over sub-projects and collaboration on operational tasks
   

As an intern (m/f/d), you will work with various teams within the area of ICEx/WWD and get to know all aspects of everyday life.

YOUR PROFILE

• Student (enrolled) from the fields of econometrics, statistics, mathematics, physics or comparable
• Experience in programming with Python and associated libraries (numpy, pandas, statsmodels, scikit-learn,...)
• First practical experience in Data Science. First experience in regressions, (non-) linear models, clustering and factor analysis is a plus
• Analytical skills, quick comprehension and high affinity for numbers
• Conscientious, structured and independent way of working
• Very good English and German skills
• Interest in new, challenging topics and having fun solving complex problems
