Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager is responsible for the overall direction and strategy of the Engineering, Sustainability and project engineering group onsite. Organizes and directs the overall department's activities in the above areas through team leaders and reports directly to Site Director, being part of Site Leadership Team.

Co-ordinates project engineering group activities on site, manages site safety and environmental activities in line with all relevant corporate and regulatory agency requirements and provides overall direction of Facilities Engineering including Utility and Maintenance Engineering groups.

Ensures the performance of day-to-day preventative and demand maintenance activity to maintain manufacturing and utility equipment,

Ensures that necessary systems and procedures are available and operational to evaluate and control all aspects of facilities engineering, in strong collaboration with Production, while leveraging internal/external engineering personnel.

Monitors and controls all site utilities on site, ensuring efficiency of operation and documentation of records, cost control and project management of all site-based projects; while assuming all responsibilities of standards ISO 4001, OSHAS 18001 and of the energy management representative per ISO 50001.
Key requirements:
degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
membership of the Professional Engineering Body is required.
7+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing, with relevant managerial experience including people management
detailed knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the regulated healthcare industry.
proven project management skills, including the ability to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting the predefined quality requirements.
effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
