IT Continuous Improvement Lead
Waukegan, Illinois Job ID 2208291 Categorie Information Technology Afdeling AbbVieThe Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Continuous Improvement Lead works within the Enterprise PMO and will lead the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives related to our enterprise Portfolio/Project Management processes and Agility initiatives. This role will span multiple cross-functional and cross-organization teams to document, implement and mature our processes. This role will help foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of Agile methodologies, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.
The suitable candidate should have subject matter expertise in Business Process Mapping, Project & Program Management, Portfolio Management, and a proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization. This position will also oversee the planning, design, and implementation of related training material.
Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to discuss business objectives, and build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing program of change
- Elicit business process requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, process requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, and business analysis
- Analyze the efficiency and costs of existing business technology solution processes to develop a baseline and measure implemented changes
- Create process documents, conduct efficiency audits, measure progress, and identify long-term data and process governance strategies
- Deliver improvement activities for identified processes across the business technology organization through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking
- Work with other team members, third party vendors, and business owners to devise new support material based on the revised processes, including any necessary training
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure long-term data and process governance strategies are being followed
- Responsible for the creation, documentation, and sustainment of our Project Management Lifecycle process to achieve a high standard of delivery
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum accredited Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, preferably Black Belt
- 5-7+ years proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis
- Experience in process development including expertise in Visio or other process mapping software tools
- Experience with various Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies a plus (i.e. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile)
- Ability to set-up, facilitate and lead improvement sessions with a range of business stakeholders
- Procedure writing skills
