Product Manager - BTS Balanced Scorecard
Sede Primaria Waukegan, IllinoisID dell'offerta 2215800Categoria Information TechnologyDivisione AbbVie
Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Analytics & Information Strategy is an ambitious team of curious data and analytics professionals on a mission to elevate decision-making by AbbVie BTS leadership through timely and relevant insights. We uncover opportunities for BTS by digging into data to find the “why” and “what can we do about it?” Then we ensure progress towards those opportunities through structured analytics and reporting that enables timely action and course correction. We focus on the highest priority challenges for BTS, saying no when needed to protect time during regular working hours for deep analytical creativity and collaborative problem solving. We challenge ourselves to continuously improve the insights we deliver, learning from each other and insights teams across AbbVie.
You will succeed as the Product Manager of the BTS Balanced Scorecard if you excel at distilling strategic and operational business challenges into a clear product vision and roadmap for the balanced scorecard at the heart of BTS leadership decision-making. You are comfortable working both top down from leadership questions and bottoms-up from a broad understanding of available data & reporting, balancing continuous improvement ambition with current state feasibility as you craft the user stories and priority features that enable better data-driven decision-making. You recognize the importance of probing initial leadership questions to understand the decision to be made and the considerations that will drive the decision, shaping initially unstructured questions into clear requirements, including user stories and mockups that integrate structured reporting through context and storytelling. While you are comfortable working iteratively through the exploration of new data sources with analysts on your own team as well as the reporting delivery team, revising the requirements in recognition of the varying reliability and availability of desired input, you maintain a clarity of vision that minimizes churn.
You appreciate that the most valuable asset we have is our team and our colleagues, so you develop your direct reports through hands-on coaching and matching their work to their interests and development areas as best possible (just as your Director will do with you). You also invest in building relationships with other analytics & reporting leaders across BTS and partner business functions, establishing trust through transparency and active listening, and leveraging their expertise to optimally integrate their reporting into the Balanced Scorecard.
This role is competitively compensated through AbbVie’s Total Rewards program. We are looking for talented people to join our team. And when we find them, we make it our business to reward them well. Additional compensation details for this role provided on request after successful screening interviews.
