The VMD Business system analyst provides direct support for projects, daily business activities, provides technical and AbbVie business knowledge regarding US tax form collection and tax code assignment.   This role is also instrumental in updates to the bank master as well as the development, identification, and implementation of system modifications that will improve productivity regarding vendor set-up.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with cross functional teams on Tax related items for vendor onboarding
• Remediation of Idoc errors in SAP
• Works closely with cross functional teams on bank master entries (create and inactivate)
• Identifies business/system needs and recommends solutions.
• Performs User Acceptance testing (UAT) testing to validate system enhancements prior to implementation.
• Assists in the development user guidance documents for training

• Applies analytical thinking skills to diagnosis and make recommendations on systems/ processes
• Incorporate knowledge of business and technology to make recommendations.
• Translates data gathered from user discussion/ feedback into business requirements
• Assists with testing strategies and develops preliminary findings.

• Bachelors Degree
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS applications
• Excellent phone and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills
• General understanding of cAPPs tools and ECC systems
• 2-3+ years of operational experience with specific knowledge of a given Master Data domain, data governance, and related business processes
• Understanding of the interaction of fields across master data domains in SAP
• Minimum 2+ years of related experience which includes Business process Analysis, Systems testing, IT Implementation and/or Project Management experience.
• Knowledgeable on DSP and Purchasing and Accounts Payable transactions (SRM, Shopping carts, invoice payments, etc.)
