Sales Force Effectiveness Manager

The purpose of the Insights and Analytics Business Partner (BA Focus) role is to support the Business Unit with insights and advice through high quality Sales Force Effectiveness analyses (targeting, segmentation, profiling, sizing and territory alignment analyses) for sales investment maximization and optimal in-field team resource allocation. This function is responsible for assigned in-market brands and for upcoming launch assets

  • Full responsibility for developing, implementing, and improving relevant Sales Force Effectiveness analytics
  • Active contribution to the (re-)design and implementation of Field Force territories, territory alignments, sales force sizing/structure and to all restructuring measures
  • Autonomous conception, steering and implementation of targeting, segmentation and profiling projects as well as stakeholder mappings
  • Autonomous preparation and realization of projects, reports and presentations to support decisions for internal costumers (Sales, In-field Team, etc.)
  • Proactive consulting of internal partners in the interpretation and evaluation of analysis results and in the implementation of the findings into concrete, actionable and business oriented recommendations and decisions
  • Close collaboration with the Business Unit Head, National and Regional Sales Managers, In-field team, BTS/IT and the international AbbVie team throughout Europe and Global

Continuous search and evaluation of new and relevant SFE methodologies and analytical approaches as well as identification of alternative vendors

  • University degree in the field of economics, IT, Life science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Sales/Business Analysis with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
  • Distinct knowledge of targeting, segmentation, sales force sizing and territory alignment data sources and analyzes
  • Excellent analytical skills, especially in the transfer of research results into actionable company decision
  • Expertise in running and maintaining different CRM systems and business analysis tools
  • Confident and independent usage of all relevant IQVIA reports or other reports from different vendors
  • Computing/IT excellence; MS Excel champion
  • Experience with speech and presentation techniques
  • Strong ability to working in teams, reliability and can-do attitude

Very good oral and written English skills

Travel: Yes, 5 % of the Time
