Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and 12+ years of experience. Masters degree and work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Effectively connects employee and BTS functional goals to business and/or overall Abbvie goals.
Proven ability to drive outstanding employee performance and engagement through developing, coaching, motivating, energizing and inspiring team members.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing teams of at least 15 people with a resource mix of managers, employees, matrixed teams, virtual teams, contractors and managed service providers.
Ability to communicate problems in terms that are understandable to all levels of the organization, including C-Suite.
Thought leader within multiple technology and/or business domains.
Experience managing a budget of at least $15 million.
Experience in technology operation, strategy, planning and implementation and/or relevant business domain preferred.
Experience with IoT development / Scaling / cellular or WIFI connectivity
Experience in a wide range of IoT connectivity options, balance the requirements of different connected devices, and deploy appropriate edge infrastructure to gather and process IoT input.
Exposure to full lifecycle of medical device.
Medical device / Regulated Experience – Quality System Design for IoT devices
IoT and/or medical device security expertise
Analytics / Product Service Experience
Engineering / Innovation focus / Machine Learing is a plus
Hardware Engineering, Software Development, Product Design and Mobile App Development
Experience in managing team of innovative engineers, Solution architects, and data scientists
