Data Analytics Manager
Tokyo, Japan Req ID 2202428 Category Marketing Division AbbVie- Provide fixed reports and dashboards which are widely used across field forces and commercial organization in the headquarter. Lead requirement definition by collaborating with other departments in Customer Excellence, creates reports and dashboards with BTS or partner company
- Collaborating with others to Identify business challenges of high priorities which can be solved with data analytics, establish hypotheses, identify required data sources, and conduct data analysis
- After actions are taken based on the analysis results, run a PDCA cycle that continuously monitors the implementation status and effects of the actions in collaboration with other departments
- Contribute to the decision making by using statistical / machine learning and AI based data analytics e.g.
- Analyze the impact of various marketing and sales measures by statistical data analysis and identify next action
- Propose and conduct channel impact, channel mix analysis to contribute to the marketing and field strategic and tactical planning

- Documentation (MS PowerPoint, Word)
- Presentation skill
- Identifying and solving business problems through data analysis (identify problem, build hypothesis, identify data, propose and build solution)
- Requirement definition or implementation of business intelligence dashboards and reports (e.g. Tableau, Qlik, Power BI or equivalent tools)
- Statistical data analysis, designing Test & Control to evaluate sales & marketing actions, AI or Machine Learning based data analysis skill is a plus
- Working on Data Management Platform and technologies such as Alteryx or Palantir Foundry
- Project management is a plus (required of manager)
- Fluency in English is a plus (required of manager)

- Data analysis experiences at least 2 years (4 years for manager)
- SQL, R, Python, Qlik, Tableau, Qlik or equivalent experience
- Data analysis on sales & marketing actions taken incl. test & control design, causal inference
- Large size data analytics project (e.g. company wide BI tool deployment) or AI/ML based data analysis experience (excl. Proof of concept) is a plus (required of manager)
- Data governance and management experience or knowledges is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or above (graduate degree in science is a plus)
Travel: Yes, 15 % of the Time
