Clinical Project Assistant

  • Execution of Scientific Review meetings, Strategic Initiatives, Scientific poster sessions, and other special communication events- Generates proposals for meeting structure and flow- Assembles and manages team needed to execute all aspects of meeting preparation, logistics and ensures adequate follow up while keeping costs at a minimum
  • - Serves as central point of contact for all communications, legal contracts, and meeting materials- Conducts lessons learned for each meeting executed and makes recommendations for continous improvement
  • Project Support and Tracking- Generates and maintains agendas and summaries for Project Status meeting- Facilitates best practices and lessons learned meetings- Archives active participation rosters for project teams and oversees eRoom maintanance
  • Communication and Recognition mechanisms- Builds displays and other vehicles for recognizing key employee contributions- Contributes content to communication messages and employee meetings

  • BS or 8- 10 years job experience equivalent. Requires basic understanding of project management skills including team dynamics, risk analysis, project planning, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, requires strong writing skills and excellent computer skills including: Word, Excel, MS Project, and Powerpoint.
  • Must be able to work independently to resolve problems and develop recommendations. Must be able to interact with all levels of management and employees in support of project coordination. Must appropriately handle confidential information. Must provide adequate pressure to project teams to meet timeline and deliverables.
