We are recruiting a Control System Technician to join our site in Manorhamilton Road, Sligo. The Control System’s Technician will provide pro-active technical support to all manufacturing operations and NPI’s throughout the site, while also providing technical support to all control system activities in the pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The position will report directly to the Automation Team lead.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities as a Control System Technician would be:

• Provide technical support to all control system related issues. Tasks include, daily trouble shooting, optimization, backup and patch implementation and documentation control.
• Complies with control system validation standards and procedures.
• Life cycle management of the on-site control systems, to GAMP-4 requirements.
• To aid with site control system projects and continuous improvements.
• Adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures, and policies.

Education and Experience:

• Third level qualification in a relevant Technical discipline required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry with exposure to process automation equipment, supporting skids or DCS platforms in a GMP environment considered.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a technical support function to production in the pharmaceutical industry considered.
• 2-3 years plus of experience of plant start-ups and/or new product introduction introductions/projects / projects to pharmaceutical facilities considered.
