We are currently sourcing an experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our high performing team in our Ballytivnan site in Sligo. 

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Implementation of all relevant policies and procedures relating to Manufacturing, Personnel, Quality & Safety.
• Ensuring that the plant meets its customer service, financial, quality, safety, and inventory management goals through the effective management of plant resources.
• Ensuring the department satisfies its customers’ requirements by meeting agreed volume and mix goals.
• Completing Time studies and allocating resources as appropriate.
• Setting budgets and ensuring costs remain within target.
• Developing the skills of the operations group. Creating a bench to provide future group leaders and supervisors.
• Supporting successful external and internal audits.
• Aligning with SCM and Quality functions on priorities and implement agreed operational plans.
• Providing Operational expertise for commercial manufacturing during development of new products, manage timelines and resources.
• Identification and technical development of continuous improvement projects.

For this role, you will have:

•  A 3rd level Degree.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a medical device manufacturing facility with experience in manual assembly, automation, molding and electronics preferred.
• 5 Years+ direct management experience preferred.
• 7 years + of significant operational experience preferred.
• A strong technical knowledge and application of concepts, practices, and procedures. Works on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors. Exercise’s judgment and advises management as to the appropriate actions. 
• A technical background in health care, medical devices, or similar industries.
