Deliver AA Portfolio Expansion Strategy to Support AA China to Achieve Ambition

• Develop vision, strategy and principles that effectively meet the long-range requirements of the local and international business that deliver maximum value for China pipeline portfolio
• Assist the AA China senior leadership team in identifying portfolio expansion priorities and strategy to strengthening AA’s leadership position specially when facing fierce competition in the industry
• Deliver strong commercial voice and support among ChPT to ensure all ongoing projects implementation and align on business cases for further portfolio expansion

Ensure smooth and efficient collaboration with Global, International and JAPAC functions

• Present China market landscape on related products/projects and provide forecast assumptions as needed
• Close collaboration with Global Commercial Development team for engaging China development in any new product/indication project discussion
• Represent China commercial in key above-market platforms, such as JAPAC NPI
• Bridge Global, International, JAPAC and CLT stakeholders for portfolio strategy and development

Drive innovation solutions and lead key winning projects in China

• Lead innovation solutions (including the Hainan RWE project) to drive pipeline acceleration
• Always challenge the status quo to identify acceleration opportunities for new products in China
• Lead business case preparation and execution of key projects, for example leveraging Hainan pathway for new products/indications approval

Team management

• Lead and coach NPP manager to work closely with Global and China senior leaders and cross functions
• Develop people from both a functional skills and leadership perspective with goal of nurturing talent

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 10+ years’ experience in new product planning, business development, market research, analytics, consulting, and influencing Marketing leadership teams. Overall marketing experience including strategic marketing is a plus.
• Result oriented with strong influencing skills to develop and maintain strong relationships to lead and influence key decision makers
• Business consulting and BD related experience is a plus
• Experience in both medicine and medical device new product planning is a plus
• Strong analytical skill with an ability to transform insights into winning strategies
• Strong presentation and teaching skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English, both verbal and written
