Sr. Manager, Strategic Marketing and PMO

This position is lead the team of Strategic Marketing and Operation team, and is responsible for the overall Strategic Marketing planning activities as well as management of sales operation in SC&EC.  with the objective to ensure efficient sales planning and implementation process. This role will work with SC&EC management team to focus on Strategic Marketing, such as innovation projects, NPP, multi-channel promotion, digital Marketing, and optimize the sales planning management framework and governance mechanism. This role will involve close collaboration and coordination among key cross functions, including S&I, SFE, Compliance, Finance, Trade, Supply Chain and so on. In this position, he/she will monitor and analyze sales data to identify potential business issues and propose solutions. Also, as the compliance interface for SC&EC BU, this role will facilitate the training of compliance policy and ensure compliant behaviors of sales team.

Strategic Marketing Planning


  1. Lead the development of effective account plans that are realistic, properly resourced
  2. Develop and implement strategies that differentiate SC&EC Products from other providers in our markets while evolving our engagement with key/strategic accounts to higher levels of effectiveness
  3. Lead strategic projects such as long-range plan and commercial model development. Support Brand Team and BUH on annual brand planning and communication with senior management team and global tem.


Innovation project and Portfolio Management


  1. Lead innovation projects in EC team and commercial assess on key assets by working with cross-functional stakeholders
  2. Design and implement O2O campaigns, including campaign theme design, promotion design, execution, ROI tracking, continuous improvement
  3. Manage 3rd party service provider to operate online presences on ecommerce platform
  4. Analyze on consumer data and market intelligence to improve digital operation plan and maximize the brand influence.
  5. Ensure asset profiles, value propositions, and other key commercial materials reflect customer insights and setup up our assets for commercial success beyond achieving registration
  6. Collaborate with cross function team as RA, Clinical Development, NPP etc. on pipeline products/indication planning to optimize EC portfolio




Market Access


  1. Lead Access projects and collaborate with MA, KA, Commercial team to optimize access opportunity
  2. Support key brands NRDL/EDL launch


Sales Operation:


  1. Be responsible for design, implementation, daily monitoring, optimization of the sales operation process in EC teams, including but not limited to:
  • To design, implement and optimize the sales and marketing operational process
  • Be responsible for the plan, co-ordination and conduction for BU management meeting (eg. BU internal meeting, cycle meeting and POA)
  • Cooperate with CEX to coordinate and optimize the internal training as well as the process
  • Closely cooperate with relevant cross-functional teams from both Allergan Aesthetics and Abbvie Pharma to ensure a fluent end-to-end operation model


  1. To support KPI and incentive assignment as well as the budget controlling in EC team:
  • Coordinate with SFE, complete the quarterly workforce planning, KPI setup and sales target setting etc.
  • Join the design process for the incentive plan, and ensure the implementation in EC team


  1. Be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting of sales and marketing data, including not limit to:
  • Sales data tracking, analyzes and reporting in each region
  • Hospital listing, customer information management, analyzing, and reporting preparation



Compliance Interface:


  1. Be the interface in EC to compliance department, and be responsible for the compliance process management in EC including:
  • Cooperate with compliance team to process integration; be an enabler to conduct related internal compliance trainings in EC team
  • To ensure all the sales related activities are fully complied with AbbVie’s compliance process requirement

Education and Experience

•    B.A. or B.S. degree or MBA combination of experience and education in medical related background.

•    Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the pharm industry is mandatory.

•    Minimum of 3+ years of Sales Operational related experience including sales operation, SFE, PMO etc.

  • Prefer to have working experience in strategic planning roles and marketing roles.
  • Family with MNC compliance policy and process, as well as internal controlling process and requirement.
  • No major compliance violation record.

  • Strategic thinking and fast learner;
  • Honest and Integrity, strictly abide by professional ethics, respect the rules;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access). strong data processing and analysis ability, and effective problem solving;
  • Highly motivated and dedicated individual. Proficient in Excel, PPT; good at finding problems;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross function departments;
  • Excellent execution, well organized, detail oriented;
