Finance Analyst
Shanghai, China Req ID 2205555 Category Finance Division AbbVie- Business Support:
- Be a good partner with business and function team to drive operating performance and Execution.
- Provide analytical support and relevant financial information in business decision making, commercial strategies, allocation of resources based on commercial opportunities
- Support Brand teams for expense tracking and management

2. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the Plan/Update/LRP/LBE processes for China consolidation aligned with the guidance Area teams.
- Maximize brand P&L’s and ensure all financials are reasonable with well supported documentation and clearly written commentary.
- Support pricing/costing requests for existing and new products

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit required month-end financial reports for Area Finance
- Ad hoc tasks required; reporting, analysis and systems maintenance.
- Ensure reporting and planning system for expenses are updated monthly and reconciled

4. Monthly Affiliate Demand Process
- Coordinate, maintain and lead a Best-in-Class monthly demand meeting process with the local affiliate team, ensure accurate and timely submissions for S&OP process.
- Support with preparation of Demand presentation slides, charts, updating internal management reporting and planning systems.

5. Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Ensure financial results are recorded in compliance with AbbVie financial policies (CFM’s) and USA Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Professional accountancy qualifications plus Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Advanced level spreadsheet skills
- Prior experience in FP&A is preferred.
- Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, collaborative and assertive.
- Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and TM1 a plus.
