Director / Sr. Manager, HR is accountable for the design and delivery of an integrated People Plan to support Korea Allergan. This includes the development of HR strategies to support the evolution of the business as well as oversight of delivery of HR service ensuring an outstanding Employee Experience. The roles will contribute to Korea leadership team and HR strategy.
Director / Sr. Manager, HR operates as a trusted partner and advisor to the Country Manager, Allergan Aesthetics Korea, Korea Allergan Aesthetics Leadership Team and People leaders in Allergan. The principle focus of the role is on organisational effectiveness, developing a robust talent pipeline, developing key capabilities and ensuring the organization is well positioned to deliver the rapidly evolving business strategy.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: DESCRIBE SCOPE:
- Partners with the Allergan Aesthetics leadership team and leaders in Eye Care business as BHR to ensure the organisation is appropriately resourced to support the business strategy both now and in the future under the alignment with AbbVie HR Director
- Leads business change ensuring prompt and effective implementation as well as strong retention and engagement
- Leadership of all union relationships to ensure close management of all people-related activities as to ensure Lead and manage the entire union relationships to ensure compliance
- Development and delivery of integrated People Plan to support the business strategy with a strong focus on talent upgrade, capability development and strategic workforce planning
- Partners with Centers of Expertise to implement programs, frameworks and processes aligned to the local need Serves as integrated part of the Country leadership team, working with and advising the managers of respective client groups to align with and assist in accomplishing broader business objectives.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
- Education and Experience / Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials) Ex. PROFIL
- Strong demonstrated Union relationship management experience
- BA/BS degree, preferably with an emphasis in HR or Business, and a minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the HR field. • Experience of working in a matrix, multinational organisation (desirable).
- Excellent at building relationships at all levels (field force, office-based employees, country management team, internal/external partners and peers), a trusted HR professional.
- Must possess in-depth negotiating, influencing and consulting skills. Able to coach client group senior leaders including AA country manager and other key stakeholders on leadership and impact
- Strong matrix management skills. Able to manage individuals and processes across businesses and functions.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required (should be skilled in use of word, power point, and excel).
- Requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Human Resources legislation/employment law, principles, policies, and procedures.
- Must be able to exercise judgment and independently determine and take appropriate action within defined HR policies and procedures.
- Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment.
- Must possess conflict management and resolution skills.
- While not necessarily the subject matter expert in each HR specialty area, must be able to discuss the fundamental issues of the HR functional areas (training, compensation, benefits, etc.) with management.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced growth environment or consultancy desirable.
