We have an opportunity for a Marketing and Programs Manager in our AbbVie Care division. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the AbbVie Care marketing team and is responsible for overseeing the strategic brand management and tactical implementation of core strategies for AbbVie Care in support of launch and overall business excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the development of marketing inputs to the strategic brand plan, securing appropriate budget to deliver marketing objectives.
  • Being ‘guardian of the brand’ by ensuring that all functional deliverables, including marketing materials and campaigns, remain consistent with branding.
  • Overseeing the tactical implementation of program tools and messaging.
  • Managing and appropriately spending advertising and promotional budgets to prioritize growth opportunities while considering cost containment and efficiency measures.
  • Co-creating robust and accurate patient journeys for all assets across AbbVie Care Immunology, Specialty and Oncology.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the patient journey in each TA and  indication and leveraging this knowledge to adjust the program offerings to meet the need of patients and HCPs.
  • Contributing to the strategies and tactics to enhance the performance of the program through increasing patient retention, persistency and adherence and providing superior patient support services.
  • Identifying and sharing across TAs and indications marketing best practices
  • Implement robust multi-channel messaging and marketing solutions.
  • Work in close collaboration with AbbVie Care Program Managers to optimize support and service offering across all TAs and indications.
  • Managing the objectives and development of the marketing team including hiring, training and mentoring staff, goals & performance appraisals as well as growth and succession planning.
  • Role modeling AbbVie Ways We Work behavior and enabling the team to work in order to achieve high quality strategy and execution capability in allocated brands.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or other relevant field.

Experience and knowledge

  • Proven track record in leadership, management and coaching of cross-functional teams or functional individuals.
  • Broad business perspective and strong understanding of strategic drivers.
  • Strong capability to analyze patient and customer insights from data and analytics.
  • Experience in leading large project plans and monitoring and tracking of milestones and key dates.

Essential skills and abilities

  • Ability to negotiate projects, resources, and timelines.
  • Demonstrate political savvy and strong business judgment.
  • Utilize strong organizational skills to navigate competing priorities.
  • Quickly resolve issues.
  • Prepare and deliver high quality presentations.
  • Ability to stay abreast of developments in health care, provincial and private payer markets.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) is an asset.
